Shelby Blondell is a driven creative force, seamlessly blending artistry, innovation, entrepreneurship, and advocacy to continue supporting her mission to uplift. Shelby began releasing music with her 2013 "Fly" EP and followed up with a self-titled EP in 2014, performing widely throughout MD/DC/VA/PA. Her single "Fun in the Sun" reached the Top 10 on European indie music charts. She’s shared stages with notable acts like Pentatonix, Sabrina Carpenter, Howie Day, Scotty McCreery, Walker Hayes, Ryan Cabrera, and James Authur. Appeared on radio and TV — including stations like WPOC, WTMD, WMAR, and shows such as Good Morning Washington— and performed at notable venues like Merriweather Post Pavilion, Blues Alley, Fillmore, Meyerhoff, and more. Her musical range spans pop, rock, folk, and Christian, including singles like “Harmony,” “Hope Begins Tomorrow,” “Mercy,” “It’ll Be Okay,” “Fairytale,” “Takes a Day,” and “Uncle Jack.” She’s also been nominated for a Wammie (Washington Area Music Award) and proud winner of a World Entertainment Award for her single ‘Torn Down.”

Born with craniosynostosis,  requiring brain surgery (one performed by Ben Carson). She’s navigated ongoing challenges such as POTS, Lupus, Chronic Migraine and Fibromyalgia. Conditions that have led Shelby’s passion for songwriting, advocacy and change. 

Shelby holds an MBA from University of Baltimore where she began her creation of the Patented seafood multitool- THE SHELLER, serves on boards such as NAYBA, Is a Governor of the Washington DC chapter of the Recording Academy and proud supporter of Linkedin Local Baltimore. 

Shelby describes herself first as a songwriter, aiming to touch lives through heartfelt storytelling. Her resilience and faith shape her artistry, bringing hope, emotion, and even joy to listeners—making her performances dynamic and inspiring
