Shelby Blondell is an international, songwriter, singer, inventor and speaker from Linthicum MD, whose determination shows that even brain surgeries cannot get her down. Shelby has a unique sound that captivates a crowd by bringing them to their feet and hitting their heart, encompassing sounds as if Lauren Daigle, Sara Bareilles and Ed Sheeran were having a tailgate. Shelby’s music, story, and work have been featured on radio and multimedia internationally, with a radio hit TOP 10, "Fun In The Sun", on the European Indie Music Charts while sharing the stage with artists like Pentatonix, Howie Day and many in between.
Shelby’s passion for entrepreneurship began at a young age while working alongside her father in his special events business. This passion continued at the University of Baltimore, where She received a Bachelor's Degree in entrepreneurship. During this time Shelby incorporated Blondell Entertainment LLC, where she manages all aspects of her brand ranging from creating music , booking, performing and everything in between.
After graduating, Shelby pursued a custom MBA while taking a position as a graduate assistant for the University of Baltimore's Merrick School of Business. During Shelby’s time as an MBA candidate, she spent time in Ghana, Thailand and Greece consulting and learning about startups in these struggling markets.
In February 2017, Shelby began another journey as the inventor of THE SHELLER. This began Shelby’s second venture, SHELBY BLONDELL LLC, an entity set to create innovative products. THE SHELLER is the patent-pending, seafood Multi-tool flat: the stainless steel, mallet, picker and bottle open MADE IN the U.S.A, and winner of the 2017 Attman Business Pitch Competition. A product now available on Amazon, local and regional stores.
In 2018, Shelby’s career began to take on a new speed with the release of her single “Hope Begins Tomorrow,” performing on news outlets such as WMAR and Great Day Washington. And the year ended with two milestone performances at the legendary Blues Alley and the Maryland Music Awards, where a divine intervention came to be.
During 2018, Shelby began to feel an undeniable pull to share more of her heart, story and faith amongst struggles. After fighting the direction for some time Shelby decided to release her first christian single, ‘Mercy’ in August 2019, leading her to an European tour, and Wammie Nomination.
Currently Shelby Blondell is recording and getting ready to release many new singles, performing and speaking at events and giving workshops, and getting ready for a 2020 tour in Europe and South Africa.
